Equity & access for all
Accessibility & our commitment
We believe access to education and opportunity should never depend on who you are or how you learn. Here's what that means to us, and how to reach us if we ever fall short.
A message from our founder
Shine Bright LLC started with a simple conviction: that every child deserves a real shot, and that the people who serve them shouldn't have to fight the system to get them what they need.
I've seen what it looks like when a student finally gets the right tool: the tablet that reads aloud, the chair that lets them sit with their class, the book in a format they can actually use. That moment is the whole point. It's why I do this.
Every school we work with is there for every learner: children with disabilities and without, in every neighborhood. The laws that protect that promise are not fine print to me: the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 508, and New York State and New York City's own human rights and accessibility laws. They're a promise I take personally: equity and access for all.
So we try to live it. We help you find products that let every student take part. We built this website to be usable by people with disabilities, working to the same WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard New York holds its own digital services to. And if we ever get it wrong, please tell us, and we'll fix it, because that's what the promise requires.
Thank you for letting us be part of the work.

Accessibility statement
Shine Bright LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
The standard we follow
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the same standard New York City requires for government digital products. It ensures content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with disabilities. We hold ourselves to it because the institutions we serve are held to it, and because it is right.
Conformance status
This website is designed and built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We evaluate our pages against these criteria and remediate issues as we identify them. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not something we finish once, so we continue to test and improve.
What we have done
- Semantic structure and landmarks (header, main, navigation, footer) with a "skip to main content" link.
- Full keyboard operability, a clearly visible focus indicator, and focus that is not hidden behind the sticky header.
- Labeled form fields and search inputs, with clear error messages.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Color contrast that meets AA, with information never conveyed by color alone.
- Status messages announced to screen readers, support for reduced motion preferences, and minimum target sizes.
Known limitations
Our live IT catalog displays third party product data and images that we do not fully control (for example, its image descriptions). If you cannot access a product, you can reach the same result by requesting a quote through our web form, email, or phone, and we will help you directly.
